Pillar 4: Creative Tools

The Language of Light: Tools for Emotional Literacy."

"We cannot always protect our children from the storms of life, but we can give them the lanterns they need to navigate them. These creative projects—from the 'Monkey & Me' lockdown archive to the Jai Jais Yoga cards—are designed to provide the generations to come with the emotional map I wish I had carried as a child."

The Jai Jais Wisdom: Anatomy of a Card

"When a child learns the language of their energy body, they never have to walk through a storm alone."

Back to the vision
  • Each card features a beautifully illustrated yoga pose. By mirroring the image, children learn to bring their physical body into alignment, creating an immediate "grounding" effect that settles the modern rush.

  • I have woven empowering poems into these cards to act as a verbal "Prana." These verses help children name their big emotions and replace "sensitive struggles" with inner strength, turning a simple stretch into a deep moment of insight.

  • We include specific Chakra references to help ignite the subtle energy body. By focusing on these energy centres, children learn how to "audit" their own vitality—knowing how to calm a racing heart or brighten a heavy mood from the inside out.

"Tools of Light for the Next Generation."

"I believe that we must provide our children with the lanterns we wish we had carried during our own darkest nights. I was honored to help craft and create the Jai Jais Yoga and Mindfulness cards—a project deeply close to my heart.

Growing up, I navigated deep, sensitive, and challenging emotions without a map. These cards are designed to be that map. By blending ancient yoga wisdom with accessible mindfulness, they offer children a way to name, regulate, and harmonize their internal energy. My hope is that by bringing these profound tools into homes and classrooms, the generations to come will have access to this light much earlier in their lives than I did."

Meditate with Monkey & Me

"From a Lockdown Diary to the Classroom Floor."

"During the stillness of the 2020 lockdown, I embarked on one of my most personal experiments. Faced with the heightened 'modern pulse' of a global crisis and the unexplained struggles of my son—long before we had the clarity of a neurodivergent diagnosis—I created 'Meditate with Monkey and Me.'

For over 100 consecutive days, we went live in a closed Facebook group to practice short, potent nervous system regulating techniques. This group served as a virtual diary of our survival. I could sense the atmospheric shift in my son’s energy with every session.

The Ripple Effect: The experiment didn't end when the lockdown lifted. Having found his own rhythm, Tanav took these tools into his school, leading meditation sessions at a lunchtime club. Seeing a young person share the gift of 'the pause' with his peers is the ultimate proof that when we heal the home, we help share that healing effect with a wider community.

The Energy Experiment: "Consistency is the currency of the nervous system. 100 days of rhythmic regulation created a 'compounding interest' of peace that carried us through the hardest seasons."
